Vegan Protein Latte- Breakfast Is Served

Hey Luvs!!

This past week I had a friend come visit me in Costa Rica …which is rare but so appreciated when it happens! She brought all sorts of goodies with her and one of those goodies was a bag of Pea Protein from Trader Joes.  I had seen it many times in Trader Joes while living in the states however I never tried it because I was in love with Sun Warrior Vegan Protein powder.

So needless to say I was happy to try it because it is also high on the iron scale and anything that is high in iron is something I get excited about!  I had to find a way to drink it though that was condusive to the way I can consume it with joy since me and fruit do not always get along.

I created this amazingly delicious morning latte that gets me really excited to get up and drink in the morning AND in the afternoon should I decide to drink some later as well.  Especially since I find my self wanting more after the first glass *SMH*.

So here it is my Vegan Protein Latte with Reishi Mushroom!

Coffee (a regular brew of my favorite Costa Rican Coffee)
Coconut Milk
Raw Sugar
Reishi Mushroom Extract (a dropper full or more)
Vanilla Pea Protein Powder (Trader Joes)

Do all the above ingredients to taste…no real measurements besides maybe only one scoop of the protein powder.

I add Reishi Mushroom because of all of its immune boosting benefits, liver assistance, weight management, and overall health powerhouseness <—-i made that word up ;-).

So hopefully you try it and later I’ll share my modified version for when I ran out of the Pea Protein.
