How To Get Rid Of Self Doubt

Quote of the day:

Two things prevent us from happiness: living in the past and observing others

In the social media world this is such a revelation.  We are consumed with images and posts all day and for many of us it kinda defines how we feel in that moment and even in that day.  I like this quote and today I want to focus on “observing others” because doing this I know for sure prevents us from happiness.

Here is my take or insight on the matter.

You can allow the things you see to either motivate you, encourage you, push you, enlighten you, encourage you, and bless you or you can allow it to do the very opposite of every one of the positives I just listed.  I’ve personally chosen to view ALL the things I see in a POSITIVE light.

If I see someone doing well, I am genuinely happy for them and I use it as a moment to encourage myself because even if at the moment I’m not doing so well I know it will change.  If I see someone rocking their business and it seems to be going well, I look at what they are doing and I take notes to see how I can utilize what I see in what I’m doing and it motivates me to do better or just stay where I am and be patient.  If I see cute hair styles, I’m encouraged to try something new with my hair not judge whether or not it’s a nice hair style or not.

The truth is our HAPPINESS should not be based on our observation of others but rather how we view the observations and allow them to positively affect us but not determine our emotions.

Social media is AWESOME and it keeps us connected to one another BUT we have to utilize self-control with an extra emphasis on SELF because only we can CONTROL how we feel and how we use what we see on a daily bases.

*Quick Note on… the Past Preventing You From Happiness.  The present is a gift and if we allow our past to steal the present moments in our life then we will always be stuck in unhappiness  until we make the conscious decision to LET IT GO. We can’t change the past BUT while we are in the present the actions we take now can positively affect how we see our “future past”  because eventually today (the present) will be the past, So ask yourself how would you want to remember this moment.

Do you allow the past or the observation of others to hinder your happiness?  Feel free to share with us!

Until next time loves!
