Journey To Salons By JC

Hello Friends (I have to come up with a name for you soon to be lovely readers),

This is the day I stepped out of my comfort zone and said yes to opening ALPHA Natural Hair Studio!  I started this journey excited but quickly became ummmm I don’t know what word I could use to describe it but maybe “unsure”, “uncertain”, and perhaps even “doubtful”.

I thank God for the encouragement of my family and friends during this stage.  A big shout out goes to my husband for always believing in me even when I’m doubting my self.  My husband Kevin stands with me, holds me up, and is a constant reassurance that I am more than a conqueror….I thank God for my man of God and the head of our home.  This is not some corny speech either, I mean every word because I was not going to make a move until I knew my husband was with me every step of the way, and as always he clearly showed me that he was, so again I thank God for my Man of God and the head of our home.  Another big shout out goes to my friend, mentor, and coach Felicia for speaking life into me, praying over me, encouraging me and opening my eyes to the healing that needed to take place within me.  Let me be the first to say EVERY Coach NEEDS a Coach!  I thank God for my Coach through this process even now with where I am at.

ALPHA Natural Hair Care Studio and Boutique will be opening VERY soon and even with every delay or lack of communication I am THANKFUL and more than GRATEFUL for this part of the process.

My Insight

Here is something I want you to take away from this short story.  We all have to one day take a step towards something that may cause fear and trembling, but if God says GO…well you better Go because he knows what’s best and He has your back.  You got nothing to lose and a whole new world to gain.

SELAH

Well, real quick, since this is one of my early posts I guess I’ll take a second to say my blog posts will most likely be short and sweet, more like a “bloggette” if ya will.  This is another discovery of myself in redefining my thoughts.  I used to think blogs had to be long and drawn out but I’m good with short and sweet (well a blog version of short and sweet).

So, until next time,

I Am Tassie
